It is not just how you start, but how you finish that will be remembered.

Okay, I can hear you saying that is easy for you to say, you have six college degrees. Let me share with you a little secret, if you promise not to tell anyone. 

My first challenge with school began in first grade. At the end of first grade I was told I would need to repeat it again, so I did. At the beginning of fourth grade my family moved and within several weeks I was told by my teacher that I was performing at about a first grade level in both reading and math. I spent the next year working on my academics day and night. As a result of my hard work and the help that I received, I was able to move up three grades in my reading and math performance in just one year!  Let's fast forward to high school. I had my challenges there as well but in the end, I graduated in the top ten percent of my class!  My first semester of college was anything but successful. I had to leave school due to poor academic performance, so I went to work for a year and and attended a junior college to get an AA degree before going back to a different four year college. I had my share of challenges after that with the foreign language requirements of my new school. With some help, I finally made it through and I left that university with two degrees. I worked for a while and I went back to college to pick up another two degrees. Sometime later in life after more work, I returned to college and received my last degree, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. In the last three degrees that I earned, a Bachelor's, a Master's and a Doctorate, my GPA average was around 3.8. 

I hope you can clearly see what I speaking to you about comes from true life experience! There are many things that I can offer you that can help you be successful in school and in life.
